Skate Love Music Festival is the world’s only international roller skate music festival—a cultural meeting point where skating, music, fashion, and dance converge by the Mediterranean Sea.
Starting in 2012 as a small local meetup, it evolved into a full festival in 2015, now attracting thousands from over 60 countries. It’s a global reference for roller skaters, dancers, DJs, artists, creators, and dreamers.

The program blends open community sessions, masterclasses, live performances, mic opportunities, and DJ sets—all wrapped in a strong visual identity and a commitment to inclusivity. The event celebrates movement, freedom, passion, and community while pushing forward with creativity and soul.

The Skate Love Music Festival takes place in Mar Bella, in the vibrant neighborhood of El Poblenou—Barcelona’s creative hub. Known for its markets, concept stores, and cultural events, it’s the perfect backdrop for Skate Love.

Across four days, Skate Love Music Festival 2025 will bring together nine international DJs whose sets will keep the energy flowing from morning until late into the night. The lineup blends funky house, disco, Latin grooves, Afro beats, soulful house, and rare vinyl finds — a soundtrack shaped for skating, dancing, and celebrating by the sea.
DJ StayFun (NL) delivers funky house and disco energy, while Tone Capo (USA) channels the East Coast skate sound with smooth, soulful blends. Sélecteur Florian (FRA) takes dancers on eclectic, vinyl-driven journeys, and DJ Petite (ZIM/UK) adds irresistible Afro and funk rhythms. DJ Money Mike (UK) brings classic roller rink favourites, DJ Gee Lane (VEN/ESP) infuses Latin vibes and soulful house, and Onyx TBH (UK) keeps the floor moving with bass-driven roller funk. DJ Bart (FRA/ESP) blends disco, funk, and soul into timeless sets, and closing the weekend, festival music director Willy Soul (USA) will deliver a mix of funk, soul, disco, and skate anthems that capture the essence of Skate Love.
From laid-back afternoon sessions to high-energy night jams, the music is curated to match every moment of the festival, creating a flow that connects skaters, dancers, and music lovers from around the world.
Masterclasses: Learn from the Best
The Skate Love Music Festival 2025 Masterclasses are an opportunity to train with some of the most inspiring roller skate artists in the world. Each session runs for 90 minutes and goes beyond surface-level instruction—these are immersive workshops designed to push your skills, refine your style, and give you direct, personal feedback from internationally recognised skaters.
Whether you want to deepen your JB flow, bring more energy into your groundwork, master the art of transitions, or explore the elegance of voguing on wheels, there’s something for you.

Instructors this year include Alono Span (USA), whose JB mastery inspires confidence in every move; Laron Best (USA), a creative powerhouse bringing two years of explosive growth to the stage; Peachy (UK), blending vintage style with playful dance; SmoothGoddess (USA), known for her precision and grace; and Roller0uge (USA), whose versatility spans coaching, performance, and hosting.
Masterclasses are ticketed separately and spots are limited, ensuring that each participant gets maximum time and attention. This is your chance to level up in an environment that’s all about growth, encouragement, and shared passion.

Free Sessions at SkateLand

If you’re holding a Main Pass, you can take advantage of Skate Love’s free 45-minute sessions at SkateLand. These are not just casual open skates—they’re themed, artist-led gatherings designed to get you moving, experimenting, and connecting with other skaters from around the world.
Expect music that sets the tone, playful challenges to break the ice, and opportunities to pick up new moves from people who’ve been rolling for years. Sessions run multiple times throughout the festival, each with a slightly different vibe depending on the host and the music style.
Spaces are first come, first served, so arrive early if you want to guarantee your spot on the floor. With the Mediterranean breeze drifting through, these sessions are pure Skate Love energy—laid-back, high-vibe, and perfect for recharging between the festival’s bigger events.
The Skate Love Music Festival Showcase

On Saturday night, Skate Love Music Festival transforms SkateLand into a performance stage for its signature Showcase—a 35-minute celebration of community, creativity, and the sheer artistry of roller skating. This isn’t just a string of performances; it’s a curated lineup of acts from across the globe, each telling a story through movement, music, and style.

From Amsterdam, Head Over Wheels brings a full-circle moment—they debuted here in 2022, and now return with a performance rooted in movement, connection, and freedom.
UK performer Merlin Bolton-Smith blends circus, fire performance, and skating into a playful yet powerful act. French artist Amandine Etelage merges contemporary dance and roller expression, carrying the legacy of French roller dance into the future.
Local club Patí Gramenet brings 42 years of competitive and community skating history to the floor. Chicago-born Alono Span shares the JB grooves that carried him from pandemic frustration to professional mastery, and Laron Best unleashes his fast-rising talent, honed in Atlanta’s electric skate culture.
The Showcase is a highlight of the festival, where you’ll see the heart of Skate Love in action—skill, style, and stories from every corner of the skate world.
