Interview with Rozi Plain,

From Rozi Plain’s 2008 Album Inside Over Here to the recent Prize Album alongside membership of This Is The Kit – Rozi Plain is something of a modest institution. Soundtracking the lives of thousands of listeners for 15 years in some feat of expression and output. It was therefore an absolute privilege to put some of my questions to Rozi in the middle of her 2023 tour.

Having recently returned from Scotland and Norway, Rozi spoke with us on issues far removed from the hustle of singing or songwriting, but to reflect on the context in which this writing and touring was taking place.

Interview with Django Django

In the same vein as Rozi Plain, Django Django have become something of a quiet institution in people’s minds. So iconic was their first release. But so progressive and beyond decent is their output.

As a band they haven’t only created strong sounds that resonate with people but crafted some seriously striking music videos too. I raise Hailbop as an example

The above leads nicely to the topic of this article. A new album from Django Django that is as strong musically as it is visually. In their own modest yet chaotic style, “thedjangos” have done it again.
