Naran Ratan’s newest album “Untitled” see’s elusive producers back with atmospheric tunes.
There isn’t a lot of information available about Natan Ratan. Only the credits pages on DIscogs or Bandcamp will give an indication of who worked on these atmospheric releases. Whoever the group or individuals are, they released a debut album back in 2015 called “Trees, etc.”. The “Untitled” album is the follow-up, a cinematic and atmospheric blending of field recordings, blipping synths and almost advertorial Raymond Scott-esque melodies.
Naran Ratan is believed to be a collaboration between Harry Hunt (of h hunt, water feature) and Rory McCarthy (of Infinite Bisous, Keyboard, r mccarthy). Naran Ratan’s location is set as Charnwood, UK which may give others more of an indication.
