A Leftover That Doesn’t Feel Like One
Though left off Souvenir, “Forever Beginner” maintains the tight, angular aesthetic Omni sharpened across that album. Clocking in at just over two minutes, the song features the group’s hallmark guitar stabs from Frankie Broyles, locked-in rhythm from drummer Chris Yonker, and the unmistakably dry vocal delivery and bass lines of Philip Frobos.
The single is available for digital download and streaming through Bandcamp, and comes in high-resolution 24-bit audio formats. It was officially released on June 20, 2025.
Context and Recent Activity

Souvenir marked Omni’s first full-length in five years and featured collaborations, including one with Izzy Glaudini of Automatic. Glaudini appeared on the track “Plastic Pyramid”, which was released as a single in early 2024.
Since then, Omni has toured with fellow Sub Pop artists The Bug Club and remained active on the road and online. “Forever Beginner” appears to be a way to keep the momentum going between official album cycles.
